Walking Dead TV Series Infecting Millions of Viewers World Wide

The cable series that filled television screens with gore, drama, and bottomless supply of zombies has infected millions of viewers with the Zombie bug. Many considered it as a phenomenal series that has broken several record ratings in cable television history. It has earned the approval of both viewers and critics as shown in their nominations for the Golden Globe Award and Writers Guild of America Award along with their nine-million-viewers record for their season two finale.

Fans of this series seem to have been bitten by the zombie craze as early as 2010 when they aired their pilot episode. The plot centers on a post-apocalyptic period where zombies overrun the world and only a few survivors are left to fight for both their lives and their humanity. Different twists and characters are added to the series as they near the season finale thereby keeping audiences at the edge of their seats and wanting more.

The third season is set to be aired on October this year and anticipation levels increase as the airing date comes closer.  Other TV series like Castle Season 4 and The Grimm Season two seem to be going along the same trend as their recent episode featured some zombies or zombie-like characters in the show. With all this excitement it’s unlikely that the Walking Dead following is going to die down.
