Celebrity Stalkers

One of the prices of fame is having your very own stalker (or stalkers) obsess about you 24/7. I often read about these stalkers on the news, ranging from the harmless but still quite scary (like Michael J. Fox’s stalker who sent him thousands of letters), to the plain psycho. Some of the most infamous examples of the latter are the stalkers of John Lennon, Selena and Rebecca Schaeffer, who ended up killing them.

Studies have shown that not all stalkers started out as delusional and violent. In fact, there is a potential stalker in each of us that can be triggered by the right set of circumstances. That’s quite disturbing, really. I could become a feared and well-known stalker if the correct buttons are pushed.

I could be applying for dental technician jobs in celebrity clinics just to be able to have access to my favorite star, or join a stalking group or do cyberstalking (which would be the most preferable since I don’t really know anything about dentistry or any other stalker in my area).

The thought is quite scary. Good thing I am not really into celebrities. Otherwise I could be someone’s worst nightmare. LOL.
