GT: Old School

Hiya girlies! This week is a trip down the memory lane of sorts, because you’ll need a really old picture of you wearing something that’s considered fashionable on the day that the photo was taken. I know a lot of you have tons of old pictures, but sift through something that holds a special memory in your heart. ‘kay? Here’s mine:

This picture was taken March 14, 1990 on our recognition day, as you can see on the background. This was when I was in day care. Yeesh. On both the clothing and what I was doing at the time. Well, the dress is kinda cute, not the “I’d rather die than be seen wearing them” type but I was dancing to “The Name Game”. Seriously. Ya know,

Banana-fana fo-fatie
Fee-fi-mo-matie
Katie!

I think I remember singing that song for weeks on end after our recognition day. I don’t want to listen to it. I might get an LSS. Hee hee. You can listen if you want, though (it’s HERE). But no, that wasn’t my most daring moment during day care. I sang “Que Sera Sera” solo on the stage, and when my teacher cut the song early, I protested that I wasn’t finished! LOL! Now you’d have to kill me first before I do a song and dance number on stage. Hahaha!

    Kaye, the bangs is in again today. But the clothes heehee :D you wont have your girl wear something like that today. Im sure even she’ll protest. Haha!…the name game, very unforgettable.

    Oh this meme is fun!! Wish I could get my hands on my old photos, which unfortunately were left back home. I also danced “name game” once too in my elementary days.
