GT: My Style Icon

Hi lovelies! It’s that time of the week once again to shine and be heard. This Thursday we’re going to talk about the people that we consider as our style icons. I know we each have our individual and unique styles, but there will always be that one person (celeb or non-celeb) whom we admire and gain inspiration from when it comes to clothing.

As fabulous it would be to say that my style icon is Sarah Jessica Parker (and as much as I love her sense of style), I lean on the more casual look these days as a WAHM who’s used to dressing up for comfort. Rachel Bilson would be my girl. She always seems laid-back, her comfy-casual attack to fashion has always been one I admired.

But of course, she’s just really cute (literally and figuratively) and I am anything but. I guess it’s the reason why I somehow always manage to look more like my style icon is our local crazy hag/beggar than Bilson. Oh well. As long as it’s comfy, is my motto when choosing clothes.

    Rachel Bilson – good choice! :D
    SJP is so fabulous, she’s just too glamorous for me though :p Rachel is a bit more “reachable”.

    I love SJP fashion sense too! I was supposed to write Jennifer Aniston also but sometimes she’s wearing the same style which borders boring to me.

    i agree, SJP is a phenomenal trendsetter when it comes to fashion. As for RB, i’m not really familiar with her, but looking at google, she seems to have a good fashion sense, too! Good choices!

    I like Sarah Jessica Parker too, loved her hair :-) She is also beautiful and loved her movie(The Sex and the City), that was very funny :-) Joining this week and made it :-)
