GT: Pink Is Love
Hello girlies! We’re still talking about colors, and this week it’s all about the color pink. Last year on GT when we featured pink as the color of the week, we had tons of house stuff in pink, and as I mentioned, most of my clothes were pink. It seems, this year, I’ve made a transition to the color red. I don’t know why. I just fancy red stuff nowadays.
I think I channeled all my liking for pink to my daughter Svet, who would like all her toys and clothes in pink if she is given the choice. Yep, my two-year old already decides sometimes what she wants to wear. So here’s she, in a pink turtle neck top and pink boots (which she wears almost all the time, even inside the house) last time we went out. She picked flowers while waiting for the taxi to come (don’t tell our neighbors. LOL).
When we buy her things, we always look at the pinks first, since we know she would be delighted to have another pink dress/top/shorts. It’s the first color she learned the name of, and all colors unknown to her she calls “color pink”. I don’t know how long this pink mania of hers will last, but for as long as she likes it, I will continue buying her pink stuff.
Even though I lost all interest in the color, I still have a favorite pink thing: Svet’s 26″ Piglet plush toy. I love how he’s so soft, although I hate how Piglet and friends crowd our bed at night, what with their sizes. LOL. Tonight he will sleep on my computer chair, though. See how comfortable he looks in there?
