GT: Weird’s The Word
Hi ladies! This week we’re talking about that one word which we find weird and/or funny. Being around two toddlers (my daughter and nephew) 24/7 exposes me to those kinds of words all the time. As they are still both learning how to speak properly, they are a fountain of incredibly delightful home entertainment. LOL. My personal favorite?
mamati
Not a real word. It’s my nephew’s version of “eat”. So when we wants to eat, he says “mamati” over and over again. We didn’t teach him that. One day he just decided that “mamati” is the word for “eat”. Lately, he has learned to pronounce like Svet (or rather, like the characters of the cartoons that they watch), so he says “mamati” with a stress on the T. LOL.
So that’s my version of weird and funny. How about you? Join in the Girls Talk fun! How? Simple! Just make a post including the Girls Talk badge AND link, submit the EXACT URL of your post at the inLinkz tool below and hop to the blogs of the other participants to see what other they have to say on the prompt of the week topic! That is how you play Girls Talk!
