GT: Most Memorable HS Moment
We’re on the last Thursday of June, girlies, so next week brand new prompts await our Girl Talkers! But before we move on to a new month (which is also my birth month as well as a lot of mommy bloggers I know! Weepee!), let us first wrap June up by sharing our most memorable high school moment.
Now, why high school? Why not college? Personally, I like my college years better, mainly because of the massive amount of freedom it allowed me compared to high school. I preferred to have us discuss a memorable high school memory though because I believe there’s so much drama in high school that we won’t be hard-pressed to actually remember an experience worth sharing to fellow Girl Talkers. Agree?
My most memorable would be our Valentine’s party during 4th (or is it third??) year of high school. But NO, nothing romantic happened. Far from that. LOL. Oh, sorry, did I disappoint you? Hee hee. Anyways, me and my whole section went out in the middle of the party to go to our class adviser. I will not elaborate on the details as to why she badly needed our support that time, but after the whole episode, we went home around midnight. So here’s my memorable bit: I rode the jeepney “sabit-style” (cling outside the jeepney instead of actually riding inside it). LOL. It was fun, I swear!
I’ve always dreamed of doing that because I only see guys do it all the time. I was tomboy-ish in high school, see, and I hang out with boys more than girls, so when the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed it. Of course it didn’t last long. When the driver saw me and determined I was a girl, he shouted at me and said “Hoy pumasok ka dito sa loob, kababae mong tao e!” (Hey, get inside the jeepney! You’re a girl for chrissakes!). Dream cut short. LOL.
So that’s me. How about you? What is your most memorable moment in high school? Join in the Girls Talk fun! How? Simple! Just make a post including the Girls Talk badge AND link, submit the EXACT URL of your post at the inLinkz tool below and hop to the blogs of the other participants to see what other they have to say on the prompt of the week topic! I missed June’s GT. I am not sure if I’d have that much memory — most of my memory were taken off my head by anesthesia
But yeah, I’m sure if I had given it a shot, I would have recalled and shared a lot, or maybe even just a few.
But I am here
well to let you know I haven’t forgotten about GT haha! I can’t wait to find out what July topic is. Can we discuss about current important issues? Like what our points are? Our country’s being going crazy about 1. Additional years in school (for our kids) 2. Family Planning, then came 3. Divorce now 4. Same Sex Marriage. I wonder what has gotten to our country. I wanna know what the other girl’s thoughts are about these issues.
Can we have the following topics for the month of July? hehehe.
I miss you all girls, and you Gene! Ü Hugs!
Agree ako kay Peachy! ang ga-gandang TOPICS:) mahab-habang sulatan yan ahaha

Hmmm. I’d have to think about my favorite high school memory. There was a year or two when the whole thing was just a nightmare, so I’d try to avoid that one.
