GT: Food To Die For
Wadaya know. This is actually a scheduled post. Haha! I usually make a post for GT one hour before Thursday but here I am making this on a Wednesday morning! Un-freakin-believable. I’ve been posting like crazy on my other blog since I woke up (deadline looms, you see) so I thought I would schedule this in here as well. Last March it was all about music, and while other Girl Talkers missed the month, I was glad to notice a lot of new faces (Filipina and international bloggers alike!) in the list.
This month we are going to take it easy by posting about stuff that we go gaga over any day of the week. This would be pretty simple because we all have something that we simply gotta have, right? Maybe “to die for” is a melodramatic phrase to put it, but hey, that’s exactly the reason why I chose that as the title of our topics for this month. Hee hee. This first week we are talking about food that we want, want, want to eat. It doesn’t have to be your all-time favorite food, it may be the food that you are craving badly at the moment you’re typing your entry for this week.
I am writing this on a full stomach, so it took me several seconds longer to figure out the food that I’d give my eyeteeth for in an instant. But I know now, it’s Tri Mo Shawarma Co’s (TMSC) shawarma rice and barbecue. Several days ago when I went down to meet with some friends, I decided to go to Caloocan City as well to sleep at my sister Rikka’s house. We were supposed to go to TMSC in Lagro but it was too early in the morning so we just went to SM Fairview instead. Now I will have to wait until I go down from the mountains again in order to taste it. *sigh*
Just looking at the picture is enough to make me salivate:

Yung Tri Mo Shawarma, medyo malapit lang dito sa amin, pero once ko pa lang napuntahan kasi medyo late sila mag-open ng store. Pero I so agree with you, theirs is one of the best I have tasted.
