Rural Bliss
Selling your four-bedroom modern house in the city in exchange for 30 something acres of farm land is, for me, a wise choice. Just what Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban did to their $2.36M house in 2008. The buyer, according to reports, is a non-celebrity Christian and country songwriter who got the couple’s house at almost a hundred thousand dollars less than their asking price. But hey, having a farm is a great getaway choice for when you are too tired with the city life. Of course that is coming from someone who’s adjusted pretty well to the quiet life of the suburbs.
Not sure if they are already using hydroponics for their growing plants and vegetables but hydroponics gardening as a hobby is a perfect getaway from the stressful celebrity life of the couple. If we had a garden instead of the cemented area in front of the house, I think I’d be into gardening too. Like cooking, most people also find it relaxing, a great way to de-stress.
