Hair Accessories
The fastest way to make one’s hair more presentable is to use accessories on it. Unfortunately, my daughter Svet refuses up to now to have anything put on her hair, whether it be a bow, a headband or even a simple clip. Had I been the hair accessories type of girl during my youth, I would have been frustrated by her refusal. But since I couldn’t care less about these accessories as well, I let her be. Besides, who am I to impose such hair care from her when I don’t even comb my hair that much nowadays. Yeah, I know. I’m a walking hair disaster.
Although I’m not a huge fan, I know hair accessories can be quite inexpensive and can be bought by anyone. So imagine my disbelief when I read about this headband called Braided Crystal Twists and Chunky Strands Headwrap by Jennifer Behr. It cost a whopping $1,375 when it first came out! I had to look twice, to make sure my eyes weren’t fooling me. And they aren’t. It’s really obscenely expensive. She’s the same girl who makes clips for $150. Gaad. To sooth my frayed nerves, I looked at her site and now it only sells for $385. But still. For a head wrap? But you know where I’m coming from. I just don’t see the need to spend that much on a single piece of accessory.
Unless you’re a Hollywood star or filthy rich.
