GT: Last Song Syndrome

Last day of the month, and the last Thursday for Girls Talk for the music month, too. Don’t worry, if you can’t get enough of your love for music, you can check out online music degrees. This week GT is about your current LSS. According to UrbanDictionary.com, Last Song Syndrome is:

To listen to music before going out of the house, and having the last song you hear before leaving stick in your head all through your journey, and beyond. Is usually accompanied by subconscious humming. This syndrome is particularly dangerous when the song happens to be the most pathetic, crappy, albeit catchy song ever.

It doesn’t really have to be something that you hear before going out of the house, just something that sticks in your brain that seemingly controls it and you have no choice but to sing a line of that song over and over again for the rest of the day,week, or heaven forbid, month. I’m glad I my current LSS is something which I actually like. Wait, scratch that, I LOVE this song I am featuring this week. And I blame fellow Girl Talker Mommy Rossel for that! This was her entry on the second Thursday of March, and it’s the only song I’ve been singing ever since. First time I heard of the song, too, and boy did I fall in love.

So here you go, Terrified by Katharine McPhee featuring the current subject of my day dreams, Zachary Levi. Yes, Chuck can sing!!! And yes, I set it on autoplay because I want you to have an LSS on it too! Hee hee. Don’t worry, it’s a pretty good song so you won’t hate yourself for singing it over and over again.

    Hey, nice song indeed! We can always use a good duet love song in our lives ;) . I imagine this song would make a nice soundtrack of a romantic comedy movie…. I’m definitely putting it in my playlist!
