GT: Invoke The Happy Thoughts

First of all, I am so proud to announce that we already have a Facebook fan page! Hahaha! I finally gotten around to making a page for our meme here. And so, would like to invite you lovely Girl Talkers to like GT on Facebook. I am planning to hold a contest/raffle for our Girl Talkers next month to keep this meme exciting, and one requirement will be to like our fan page so hit that Like button as early as now.

Second to the last Thursday of March, and we’re still taking music this week! The prompt this time around is: songs that make us smile. There is one song that stuck out when I tried to think of what to post for this week, and it’s Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds. I’ve been hearing this song growing up but it only clung to me when we first watched the animated movie Shark Tale. Two lines of the chorus were sung by thugs Ernie and Bernie (voiced by Doug E. Doug & Bob’s very own son, Ziggy), and they were so funny in that scene I haven’t forgotten this song ever since.

I don’t know why but when I feel down, I just listen to this song and the despair I feel magically goes away. Try listening to the song if you don’t know it, and let me know how it makes you feel.     my entry is up now. played the video again, i like the beat and the lyrics.. nakaka pa smile ang song kasi minsan me naalala sa song na yun.. literally yung Funky Town sa Shrek, pag nadidinig ko napapa smile pa din ako. Ay, dapat add ko ulit yung video non.. lol
