GT: Courageous Acts Of Love

Second week of the love month, and although I haven’t visited all of your posts yet last week, what I read was enough to make me crave for more! It’s super fun to read love stories of how couples met, and how they are coping with their relationships. Being in one, I know I have a lot to learn still and that you guys are certainly helping me do that by sharing your hearts out. So let’s continue with our stories this week, shall we?

This week it’s all about the most courageous act/s that we’ve done for the sake of love. I was a pretty good daughter, studying hard in school and doing pretty much everything that my mom tells me to do. That is, up until I fell in love. So I guess that’s the most daring thing I did, not follow my mom’s advice when she told me not to pursue a relationship with Paulie. I stood up for him, and like some of you mentioned, it was a you-and-me-against-the-world drama.

I know that might sound lame for a supposedly courageous act, but for someone who didn’t even have that much of a social life in her younger days because I preferred to be at home as opposed to going out with my friends in school or in the neighborhood, that’s a pretty huge deal. I know that me and Paulie still have a lot of years ahead of us, so I cannot tell if this will stay in the record as the most courageous thing I’ve done. All I know is that if I were to live my life again, I know I would go through those difficult times again and again if it means being with him.

    I grew up with my grandmother and the thought of breaking her rules scares the heck out of me….paano pa kaya kapag Nanay ko ang sinuway hihihih

    congrats..I can feel the love..I am sure you and paulie will have a great year together..just be courageuos to always accept the flaws of your hubby..just the look sa photo nyo, paranh mabait naman ang loko..hahaha

    ako inggit-inggitan na lng muna lagi sa mga happy love story nyo..at pasensya na rin kong kadramahan ek-ek ang mga entry ng lola nyo.. still mending a broken eh..

    Its really not easy to go against a lot of people who do ot approve of your relationship. But somehow, having faith in the relationship and loving someone gives you the courage to do so.
