When I went to Manila several days back, I brought home with me copies of the three earlier installments in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, courtesy of Mike and Fedhz. We already watched (in full, finally!) the first one, The Curse of the Black Pearl the other day but was not able to finish the other two because it was already too late in the night. We plan on watching the other two during the weekend so I hope I finish work early. The fourth movie in the series will be out on theaters in May so we’re catching up on watching the earlier films in time for the new one.

During the weekends when we have our movie marathon I wish we have one of those popcorn machines I see outside the theaters in malls so that it would be easier to make our favorite movie partner. It’s such a hassle because we can only do small batches in one go due to the size of our pan (No, we don’t microwave our popcorn. I’ve read it can be toxic). The other day when we were watching we had to pause the movie somewhere in the middle so I can cook another batch without missing anything from the film. I can’t wait for the weekend and see Depp in his pirate costume again! Maybe then I’ll do an extra huge batch of popcorn before watching the movie.
