GT: Work Resolutions
It’s a Thursday again! Which only means it’s time for another Girls Talk discussion! Boy, time does fly so fast. I haven’t even begun visiting your entries earlier this month and the new week is now here. I really, really need to manage my time more effectively, which brings me to my resolutions for work this 2011. Nice segue, huh? LOL. Anyway, this week’s prompt is all about what we promise to do this year for our work. I understand that some Girl Talkers are still studying, so if you belong to that group, you can just discuss your resolutions for school instead. If you’re not studying anymore and not working as well, then talk about what you resolve to do for your blogging career this year.
So. My work resolutions. Where do I even begin? Better time management, that’s always on my list. If some people always resolve to live healthier by shedding extra pounds, my constant resolution is to manage my time better. I really, really suck at allotting time for everything that needs to be done in a day, which is maybe why being a WAHM is the perfect job for me. No time pressures, no boss to please on beating the deadlines, just myself to beat up if I fail to meet my quota. Being at home offers a lot of distractions that I simply don’t have the power to avoid. *sigh* So this year, I resolve again to try and be a better manager of my time. As you can see I am far from being successful at it. Oh my I have a lot of ground to cover still.
I also resolve to work less and blog more. Although that might be a bit tough to stick to as well since my work brings in more money now, so I most of the times have no choice but to do more of that and spend less time blogging. It’s also partly why my schedule’s messed up right now. I am trying to squeeze in more blogging time during the week. Oh I wish I could sleep less than six hours a day now, but every time I try I just end up really sleepy and unable to function properly. So again it circles back to the time management issue.

i’m surprised nga din na marami pala tayong time management ang resolution. hihihi
lahat nalang tayo management ng time ang kialangan baguhin… I wonder how many women out there can do this without it being a prob? hehe… bow ako sa taong yun… you can do it sis… oks lang naman siguro na mas may time ka sa work mo, if that’s what’s giving you more income… siguro ang tawag dun, prioritization… naks!
