GT: Health Resolutions

Hello my dears! I hope you enjoyed the holidays! For most of us it’s back to work/school again, and although that might sound a bit dreary, a whole new year is something we all look forward to, right? Towards the end of each year, we tend to reflect on what’s happened to us during the twelve months that passed, and most of us resolve to do something for the brand new year that’s in front of us, either for ourselves, or for people that we know and/or love. Those things that we call resolutions. We may or may not keep them, but we all have them in one form or another.

This month’s prompt is all about resolutions. I thought this would be a good month to discuss the topic, January being the first month of the new year. Each week we will talk about an aspect of our life that we resolve to do something about. For future reference (i.e. to remind ourselves that this is what we intend to do) and/or just for sharing with others, so that we might cheer each other on to stick with our resolutions throughout the year. This week’s topic is about health. What with all the feasting we did during the holiday season, I think this topic is really timely.

As for me, I resolve this 2011 to be less of a worrywart for my health’s sake. After all, less stress = a healthier me, right? Being the family’s breadwinner is not giving me the license to become sick no matter what. And although I do not get sick often, I still found myself on the verge of sickness during the last year because I think and worry too much. I also promise to eat on time as much as I can. My mother and Paulie are always scolding me for not eating when I already need to because I’m too occupied with work. And my metabolism isn’t helping me any either. Which is the reason why I’m still thin even after all the sitting down with just my fingers moving all day.

So those are my health resolutions. And I intend to keep them. You’ll cheer me on, won’t you? And while you’re at it, join in the Girls Talk fun! It’s good for the health, trust me! How to join?     ay naku Marce, buti ka nga kahit anong kain ang gawin mo, fayat ka pa rin, eh kaming mababagal ang metabolism, konting kan lang lobo na agad. But, you have to watch your health kasi kadalasan kapag medyo skinny ka, madali kang magkakasakit. ginawin ka rin kapag payat ka. pero oks sana kasi pang Model ang katawan mo, sige, bigay ko nalang sayu ang konti kong taba, hehehe!

      true mommy clang. kelangan balanced lahat. kaya lang yung metabolism ko ayaw makipag-cooperate. naku kung pwede nga lang talaga, sinalo ko na extra fats nyo. teka parang wala naman akong nakikitang extra fats sayo mommy. hihi
