That’s a lot of Gs. Haha! But no, it’s not really about the Golden Globe going environmental for their theme. It’s just that I noticed a lot of celebrities wearing green gowns for the event, and some of them are the best-dressed in this year’s list. If you think that green is a hard color to wear, then you have another thought coming. Well, of course, they’re Hollywood celebrities so it’s t heir job to look good, but dang do they ever. Whose green gown shall we start with? How about Angelina Jolie’s?

The beading tools must have been busy at work on her Dynasty-inspired Atelier Versace gown and it looks just amazing. The fact that Jolie usually goes for a black gown makes this Swarovski-encrusted gown extra special. Green looks good with her type of coloring methinks. Here’s another show stopper: Catherine Zeta-Jones.

She’s just stunning in her strapless Monique Lhuillier ballgown. It’s voluminous, and not everyone will be able to run off with that look, but Catherine did, and with flying colors. Maybe it’s also her happiness that shines through, the fact that her husband Michael Douglas has already overcome cancer and seems healthier.We move on to another celebrity who also lit up the red carpet with her fabulous dress: Mila Kunis.

The 27-year-old Black Swan actress sported a one-shoulder Vera Wang dress. Kunis’ forest green body contouring gown was perfectly complemented by her chic updo and her fresh make-up with a touch of Audrey Hepburn. But if we’re talking about shoulder-baring, not many can compete with Elizabeth Moss’ strapless Donna Karen number. The elegant rose-gathered top and intricate pleating on her gown is what made me decide she must be on my list.

So there you go. Yet another look on the fashion side of awards. Can’t wait for the next major awards event! For now I will content myself on looking at the other celebrities’ gowns and maybe do a feature on them too!
