I have been researching about UGGs and how to wear them/what to wear them with ever since I learned how comfortable they are on the feet, especially during this time of the year when the cold can become very nasty. As I believe I’ve said before, I hate it when my feet gets cold. I become really uncomfortable. It’s not easy partnering UGG boots with just about any ensemble. I saw many celebrities wearing them and augh. The results are just disasters.

This is maybe why UGGs have been both loved and hated by fashionistas. Loved, because they’re really very comfortable. Hated, because it’s hard to look for the perfect outfit to match. Not a lot of celebrities I saw pulled off the “just about right” look, except for Kate Moss, who, well, let’s just say she’s an exception to the rule as she looks gorgeous in EVERYthing. UGGs have been forever in that undecided spot, that trend which you can’t live with but can’t live without as well. Especially with people trying to wear them in hot places  in the hopes that they look fashionably different.

In fairness to UGGs, I think they were never meant to be fashionable pieces. Comfort is what UGGs are known for, and for me that’s enough. Which is why I love UGGs, no matter the criticism it gets. I have them not because I intend to show them off, but because I want comfortable feet at night for when I work. What would I do with classy looking boots who will leave my feet cold? No thanks. I’d rather have UGGs.

So for now the UGG cozy slippers stays inside the house. To keep the feet warm during cold, cold nights. I don’t think I have the guts nor the fashion sense to pull it off correctly outside the confines of the home. The UGGs would be like my own little secret, something I’m sheltering from the world and don’t wanna share. If you have worn UGGs and people thought you look great, I would be glad to hear some of your advice.
