Weathering The Rain In Style

It’s raining (actually, storming) a lot lately in our part of the country. While others have the luxury of staying inside the comforts of their own home when they feel like it, a large part of the grown-up population have no choice but to go to work everyday. The season may feel like drab, but that doesn’t mean we have to dress the same. Here are some stylish raincoats I found which will surely keep you fashionably dry.

I looove the shade of red on this Urban Raincoat by Johnson (they also have blue, but the site is down at the moment). It just screams chic, and the navy piping and navy buttons just add flair to this rainwear. The Mandarin fold-over collar can be worn up or down, which is just cute. I wish I own this, but it sells for $390.00, and you know I don’t spend a lot on myself, so something like this would be more than okay.

Simply timeless, this Betsey Johnson Women’s Double-Breasted Metallic Raincoat is. Although not available anymore on Bloomingdales (used to sell for $320.00), I bet fashionistas are still drooling over this piece. It has a Crinoline skirt and crystal bows accent the cuffs, so what’s not to love?

I fell in love with the ruffles on this 3/4 length coat by Raindrops. I haven’t seen a raincoat like this before, which is why it appeals to me even more. And yes, it is water repellent. And  the big pockets on either side of the coat is just useful.

With these three raincoats as part of my wardrobe, I bet I’d love for it to rain everyday!
