Get Your Man To Buy You Better Gifts
Saying to your boyfriend or husband that you would like better gifts this Christmas apart from those he has been consistently giving for the past few holidays can come off as being self-serving at the very least. Not to mention highly ungrateful. But who doesn’t want to receive gifts that one will be able to use more often? Or one sees more appropriate? I bet we all do. In theory, it will all be a matter of letting him know exactly what you think, but love relationships are a little more complicated than that in real life. That being said, accomplishing it without hurting feelings along the way would be a minor miracle.
What to do then, if telling your special someone straight what you want as a gift? If it was me, my list of things to buy (which Paulie knows I have) would be handy. I always keep a notebook with a list of stuff I want to buy, whether it be for the house or for myself. If ever Paulie would buy me a gift, he would know where to look to use as reference. That way I wouldn’t have to tell him and he doesn’t even have to figure it out. I feel like I deserve a diamond tennis bracelet, you know. I’ve been a pretty good girl this year. But I’m not including that on my list. He wouldn’t be able to afford that. LOL
