Egg White Face Mask For Removing Blackheads
Pimples is rarely a problem for me now, compared to back at school when I have them popping up during unwanted days. Blackheads, now that’s still a problem up to now. Last week, I took a long and close look at my face in the mirror (believe me, I rarely do that. LOL) and I was irritated at the blackheads I saw on my face and horrified at the huge pores! I started looking for home remedies for blackheads, and saw that a lot of people have used an egg white mask for the purpose and have found it to be effective.
So me and Paulie tried it during the weekend. We didn’t care if it was smelly or sticky, because we immediately felt my skin tighten after only a single application. Now we plan to do it every two days, and report on the effect on me maybe next weekend, if it worked on lessening our blackheads. How we made the mask?
- Crack an egg open and separate the yolk from the white part.
- Add a tablespoon of lemon juice (for reducing discoloration and pimples) and one-half tablespoon honey (acts as moisturizer). Totally optional though.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Using a makeup brush, dip on the mask and apply it on your face.
- Lie down for 20 minutes and let the mask work its magic.
- Rinse off with warm water.
Voila! Smooth, refreshed and tight facial skin!

Hmm whats up with all the blackhead talk? I was over at Beauty Secrets Revealed blog reading about a garlic oatmeal scrub for black (and white) heads. It’s a great time for this discussion though because it’s this time of year that we need to give extra care to our skin.
