Choco Craving
I’m salivating for chocolates right now. And I don’t want just the daily choco fix I get from my chocolate drink. I want dark chocolate. Oh heavens. Why do I want it all of a sudden? I was reading this article about the health benefits of dark chocolate, see, and just looking at the pictures made me craving like a maniac. What? You want to hear the benefits? Oh, of course.
I read that dark chocolates contain antioxidants, and I don’t think I should explain anymore what they are, since the term seem to pop up in every product endorsement nowadays. It’s also good for the heart, and doctors in fact advise daily (but moderate!) intake for lower blood pressure and cholesterol level. Oh yeah. Perfectly good reasons to go after what your heart truly desires.
Here’s another interesting fact: do NOT wash down your chocolate with milk. Not that it’s bad for the health. But studies show that doing so prevents the antioxidants from being absorbed by your body. And that’s why we’re eating those luscious dark chocolates in the first place. Right? Right???
