Banana Facial Mask
Yep. Bananas. I haven’t tried it personally but I read that it is an effective astringent. It’s all-natural, easy to buy at the store and seems equally easy to make. What could it hurt to try? I’m amazed by the amount and variety of facial masks that we can make in the comforts of our own homes. Makes me wonder why we all look far and wide for the best acne product when it is sitting silently at our kitchen counter all along. How do we make a banana facial mask?
- Peel a piece of banana and mash it into a smooth consistency in a small bowl.
- Add honey and/or oats (totally optional) to make the mask thicker and for the added beauty benefits of honey and oats.
- Apply mask to clean face for twenty minutes.
- Rinse off the mask with cool water then wash the face again, this time with warm water.
Easy peasy! I’ll definitely try it this weekend. Now if I can only remember to buy bananas at the market. Hee hee.

Yep that certainly is easy but the honey and oats combined with the banana is NOT giving me the image of facial mask. I think I need to have breakfast now
