Wu Yajun: World’s Richest Self-Made Woman
There are only 14 female billionaires in the world right now who earned their fortunes (why so few, you might ask. Well, I ask that question too.) and the richest of the lot is from China, Wu Yajun who is worth $3.9 billion. She ranked as the 232nd richest person in the world when Forbes published their 2010 Billionaires list last March. I cannot even imagine how much stuff that could buy you. LOL. How much shoes, bags, clothing, make-up. Wow. Must be a lot. But of course, being business-minded, I don’t think Wu Yajun is striving to earn money just for those. Tee hee.
Wow. She looks like someone I could bump into the city streets, not the 232nd richest person on Earth. I admire women like her, who make a fortune by themselves through business and not just inherit it. I think it s what makes a woman strong, being able to conduct business in a man’s world. She must have a document management system chip embedded in her brain or something, for her to be able to handle huge businesses. That, and the fact that she obviously has loads of money to pay the top people to come work for her.
