Reading Gossip Girl
I’ve just started reading the first book, in preparation for me and Paulie watching the series. I must tell you now that I am finding it hard to relate. Why? because the characters live the high life, are mostly gorgeous (as described by the book) and looking like they never had the need for eczema treatments their entire life because of their flawless skin. So I don’t know if I will be able to read all the books in the series. We will watch the entirety of TV show though, up to the latest episodes. I am a huge Blake Lively fan and I want to see how she portrays the Serena character. As for the book, well, it seems that my interest right now still lies in the funnies. So back to Meg Cabot I will go after I am through with the first Gossip Girl book I’m reading.
Hi Mommy Kaye! The TV series is loosely based on the book. The only similarity are the characters and that’s about it. You can either read it and compare or just watch it. Sobrang iba yung kwento. Take Chuck. He’s a minor character sa book but he’s bida in the series. I like Blake Lively too. But to me, its Leighton Meester as Blair who’s better in the series. Season 4 na sa ETC. Haven’t started with my season 3 DVD. Tara nood na tayo
