Do you know that this week is no makeup week? Well, actually this project by Rabbit Write started last September 20 and will last until the 27th, and although there are a lot of women who joined in already, I’m surprised it wasn’t as widely publicized as I feel it should have been. In fact, I only chanced upon this today, when doing a research for the earlier post. Or maybe it’s been the talk of the town lately, and I’m not just doing my usual blog-hopping so I was left unaware. Oh well. Serves me right.
It isn’t too late to join though. I, myself, have gone makeup-less since I became a WAHM. Of course, not counting the day we went to marce Seiko’s daughter’s birthday. It was imperative to have makeup then, but really, I was uncomfortable, even with that littlest goo on my face. If you haven’t tried going makeup-less, trust me, it’s true when they say that it’s liberating. And how beautiful the women look without makeup! Go hop to Rabbit Write’s blog and take a look at the no makeup gallery.
I’m surprised the makeup industry is still thriving, judging by how gorgeous these women are without goo on their faces. Oh well. I blame the media for that. Too much hype on the need to look perfect every single day. Sheesh.

No make up for me too – well at least most of the time. Only when I go out of the office which is very seldom.. its better this way..
yep. less clutter on the face less prone to skin problems
Oh no, I can’t do it completely. I need at least eye liner. I feel naked without it. I can skip everything else but the eyeliner and lip gloss.

there is a contest about makeup that I about to take part but I back out lol.. too much acne
Ooh, I’ve never heard of this before. But then, I’m almost always without makeup. I’d probably wear makeup only on Sundays to church and special occasions.
