Trailing after Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres, Kara DioGuardi has also left American Idol. Whether she left voluntarily or she was forced to do so is still subject to media speculation. So who’s left? Randy Jackson? I have nothing against the man, I think he’s a great record producer. But somehow, I don’t think he adds spice to the show. I mean, think about it, do you have any memorable Jackson quote on the show? You don’t, because his comments are always cliche and he doesn’t add much value to American Idol.

Oh I miss Simon Cowell. So he’s a douchebag most of the time, but that’s what made the show lively. Methinks the Cowell and Abdul tandem was the major thing that made the show interesting, and without them, American Idol is just lonely (Okay maybe just Simon. Paula is also a bit on the lame side for me.) Five million viewers thought so too, and decided to not watch the finale this year. There are rumors (or are they already confirmed?) about Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler taking the empty seats but I don’t know. A lot of people don’t seem to like the idea of Lopez in there, and mixed opinions about Tyler.
