CC: Sensitivity
It’s my first time to join Couple’s Corner, hosted by my always gorgeous marce Liz over at Rodliz.info so please bear with me while I fumble like the newbie that I am. This week it’s about who’s more sensitive in the relationship and how it affects us. I guess in general, women tend to be more sensitive than men, and I am no exception.
If Liz gets hurt when Rodney forgets to kiss her before going to work, I get irritated easily when sometimes I go to bed and ask Paulie to embrace me and he gives a lame excuse like “My left arm is numb” or something (I always sleep on his left side). Most of the times, he’s just teasing me, and although I already know that, I still get hurt when he refuses to embrace me. Of course I’d not let him sleep again unless he embraces me first, so in the end he gives in to me if only to shut me up. Hee hee.
Or when I ask him to please fix me a cup of Choquick and he forgets to do so because he’s running around the house doing God-knows-what, I would make this face that would make him notice me, then he’d get me my request, but I would totally ignore it. He would of course ask why I am not drinking it and I’d pretend I didn’t hear him. I’m not really mad at him, I just want him to notice me, I think. So that’s not being over-sensitive, that’s being KSP (kulang sa pansin)? LOL. Anyhow, I’m just glad that he can stand my childishness (or yeah, my being KSP). I guess the key to us being more than just partners is that we treat each other as best friends as well, who know and understand why the other person acts that way.

Hehehe! luka luka ka rin ah. naku ha, eh ikaw ba ang sanay na i kiss every morning,tapos bigla hindi, oh eh kugn me iba ng ni kikiss?? Katuwa, totoo nga yatang mas sensitive ang girls kesa boys noh? although sa ngayon eh bato na ang aking puso sa mga jokes ni Rodney, dun na lang sa mga gestures ako minsan nagiging sensitive, kapag nakasanayan kasi eh hinahanap din. Pero mas grabe ka, iba ang pag inarte mo, hahaha!

that was cute, lol! i think your being sensitive is rooted to your being sweet, and as long as it doesn’t hurt the relationship maybe it’s ok. nice post!
