Weird’s The Word

E54RSVB6KATC. I had fun doing the weird hats post, so I thought I’d do a follow-up, but this time around, it would be about the bags. Are you ready for some weirdness?

Keybag. This one’s a favorite. Mainly because me and my keyboard are practically inseparable. And it comes in pink, too! This is one weird bag I would be proud of owning. But you know, I ain’t so picky. I’d be happy with just a pink, actual keyboard (because I’ve read the keybag’s €125 a piece).

Parcel’s underwear purses. These are also cute, just because they’re colorful and the underwear they were designed after are for kids. I wonder if it would look as cute if it was patterned after adult underwear. Hmmm..

LadyBag. Just by knowing what it does (it has an RFID system which detects when something isn’t in the bag that you’ve set beforehand that it should be, PLUS it has a LED display on the outside of the bag which reflects the user’s emotional state through the interactions with the bag that are registered through physical sensors) I bet it costs a mint. But it’s handy if you have a severe case of forgetfulness. And you want others to know exactly how you feel.

Food purses. They’re not real bags, mind you. They’re just part of an ad campaign for some diet program. Too bad, though. They look good. Especially the bacon briefcase. I’d say no to the ground beef/pork bag though. It looks gross to me. Like a red human brain.

Judith Leiber’s cupcake purse. Katy Perry carried one of those during the MTV Europe Music Awards, and since then it’s been all the rage. I won’t be surprised. It looks darn cute. But the price isn’t. It’s $4395.00 a piece.

Louis Vuitton Tribute bag. Now this bag is the queen of weird. But it’s Vuitton, and there were only 12 pieces manufactured (thank God!), so the price you won’t believe: $52,000. For a purse you can’t make out the form of? No thanks.

Corset bags. The princess of bag weirdness, maybe? I can’t imagine having the guts (or the poor fashion sense) to carry one of these around. I mean, would I want to carry something that has boobs while I don’t?

There are a lot more of these, so I’d make this in two parts.
